Samiti aims to develop the qualities of ENLIGHTENED MOTHERHOOD, IDEAL Dutiful Efficiency and LEADERSHIP in the sevikas through the shakha activities. The lives of illustrious women like Jijabai, Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi and Devi Ahalyabai Holkar exemplify these qualities.

Enlightened motherhood is a cherished ideal of Hindu women. Jijabai trained her son Shivaji and his tribal friends to free this country from the cruel and barbaric foreign rulers. She had a definite aim of establishing Hindu sovereignty by organising the various constituents of Hindu society. It was because of Jijabai’s training and inspiration that Shivaji became successful. Jija Bai is our role model for Motherhood. Mothers empower the oives of great men & women, who shape the history of the world, through intense sacrifice and extreme love. Such mothers hold a proud place in our hearts.

There was never a great person who had not a great mother.
